It is summer and the lavender in full bloom. Visitors enjoy wandering between the rows of lavender on the field. Unfortunately, the vintage cars that visited today were not able to drive right down to the field, but they still look nice in front of some of the display lavender. The owners of the cars came from Palmerston North and enjoyed a day out in the country.

Everybody enjoys the warm weather with long hours of sunshine, even the bees and bumble bees. The lavender smells divine and it looks as if we are going to harvest it earlier than in previous years.
